BIOGRAPHY | BIOGRAPHIE
Jemimah Lorissaint (b. 1998) is a contemporary Haitian-Canadian artist who has been honing her skills in painting and drawing for the past years. Her work has been shown in Ottawa and Gatineau galleries. Her artistic production uses classical figurative language to portray emotions. Her realistic paintings and drawings have earned her the Kenneth Lochhead and Gunter-Nolte award, and her work can be found in both private and public collections.
Lorissaint is a graduate of the University of Ottawa where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Communications.
Jemimah Lorissaint (n. 1998) est une artiste canadienne haïtienne contemporaine qui a perfectionné ses compétences en peinture et en dessin au cours des dernières années. Ses travaux ont été exposé dans les galeries d'Ottawa et de Gatineau. Sa production artistique utilise un langage figuratif classique pour dépeindre des émotions. Ses peintures et dessins réalistes lui ont valu le prix Kenneth Lochhead et Gunter-Nolte, et son travail se trouve dans des collections privées et publiques.
Lorissaint est diplômée de l'Université d'Ottawa où elle a obtenu un baccalauréat en arts visuels et une mineure en communications.
